9 hours on the job for a change - jumped right into it in case the winds picked up, but only a nice cool breeze all day...changed batteries in the weather station sensors and reset the recorder...built a stand for the solar fryer (more mirrors coming early next week)...routed and built a frame for the new solar oven glass ( 55" x 20" insulated glass installed)...built and hung the door for the solar shower. 66.84.49,0,B

JW, did you change batteries cause they were down or just maintenance item? As you know we both have the same unit, but I didn't think of changing mine when I had it down to mount it on the much taller pole.
Ben, my friend...I was losing the signal at the base station from the units so I figured it was time. All is well now.
WHA'? You didn't get the roof put on the greenhouse today?!?!
What's to cook in that big, in-the-ground solar oven? A whole pig?
Is it just me, or does the solar fryer on the stand look like a cow?
Ha ha, fallerya. I was going to say it looks like a doggie.
Nice miter joints John!
Speaking of dogs, where is the dog?
Hats off to you John...adventurous
living.
I lived in my 5th wheel on my own land, 20 acres outside Tombstone Arizona for 3 months reciently.
You have it MUCH rougher.
Good luck if you find a lady that wants to live there.
My wife could NOT survive without:
blow dryer, curling irons, hi-def
TV, etc....
The solar panels, 2-75 watters, charger & batteries (at&t types)
couldn't keep up...on goes the generator!
Us off-griders in Tombstone call ladies,
"long-hair volt-burners"
Good luck John...
