due diligence...

Hot/humid morning but got 4 more sheets of tin up on the north side of the west awning.  Too hot to continue on that work so I figured it was time to prep the gas powered water pump-just in case.  At 4PM I got dumped on hard for about a half hour...slow drizzled after that for 3 more hours.
Pumped 2000 gallons out of the creek flow and the lake is 14' deep now.  73,106,73, .57",B

Cool picture of the Black Lagoon and the mini water fall at the dam. Hope that isn't going to be a washout point! Got about .45 here and we went through the storm that probably gave you the rain. Even had some small hail in it on 118. We had to pull over twice because it was coming down so heavy.

14' Feet? Yea!

In the 1950's, nurserymen in Seabrook, Texas, dug holding ponds for the miniscule amount of rain received to be used for watering stock. (During that time Seabrook was a destination for buying plants--population 300, 6 nurseries.)

About the time the biggest were in place, it started raining again.

Still at .6" for the year here on the coast. Glad you're getting something to work with where you are.

Just a question...what is in the water? Looks polluted with something? Is the pump a filtration system as well?

You must've done a rain dance. We had a downpour here, as well. Very interesting video.

Great looking work on the west side cover.
