I guess those lovely plants have been around for a great many years -- and would have perished long ago if they started blooming when the weather was too cold. I doubt if our modern day weather forecasters have a better record.
I believe those lovely blooming plants have been around for a very long time! God must given them the ability to know when to bloom or - not to bloom. Weathermen would be blessed - if they could do as well!
Still snow on the pines up here in northern Michigan. Probably another month or so before the first Snowbirds return.
My Mysterious Lilies are 2" out of the ground, they normally come up in April!.
