Pandemic Saturday

Over 2 million new cases reported worldwide in the past week - a new record high.  Meanwhile President Trump marked his return to the White House last Monday after a weekend hospital stay for coronavirus treatment with this message for the American people: "Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life."  The president's tweet left many friends and families of coronavirus victims disgusted and angered. How could they not let a virus that snatched their loved one from them dominate their lives?  Amanda Kloots, wife of Broadway star Nick Cordero, who fought the virus for 95 days and died, was among those mourning the death of a loved one who took issue with the president's comments.

This is so very tragic, as are all related deaths. I also understand how words can leave you disgusted and angered, human nature. But I’m not clear if Biden-Harris could-would have changed the final outcome. Also not totally clear the quote from Jane Fonda: COVID is God’s gift to the left. Last, I have my 95 year old Father here in a Texas nursing home. Thank God he was not in New York under Cuomo’s care.

Bidon-Harris have nothing to do with the outcome. Trump is the president of the United States and solely responsible for the words he uses. It sounds like your justifying his indifference for American lives because of "words" of others; Biden, Fonda. Focus on the the Words of the Commander and Chief. Is he being truthful? Is he compassionate? Be honest with yourself... really give it some thought. Is he empathetic to the American people or are his motives really to just feed his huge narcistic ego? What are his words saying to you. Im curious. And what is it you mean by you thank God he was not under Cuomos care? What does that have to do with it?

After being honest with myself, and after really giving it some thought, I have fully come to realize the words of our Commander-in-Chief (not and Chief) MUST be responsible for the over 2 million new worldwide cases the past week. His words are are so darn bad! You convinced me. Thank you!

John, it is so sad to see your obsession with politics and the virus. So many people are living in fear.

What is sad is a president's obsession with himself while continually playing down the severity of the virus.

I think I'll vote for the guy who DIDN'T recommend injecting bleach to treat the virus.
