Trump and God...

“I am not sure I have,” Trump said when asked if he’d ever asked God for forgiveness. “I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”  James 4: 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.

The Christians who vote for Trump do it mostly for one of two reasons. 1. The anti-abortion stance of the GOP. (Who by the way, will never stop abortion because it would remove the number one reason why people vote GOP) And 2. "Look at what he's done for the economy" (for the love of money is the root... right?) These Christians know full well that he's not a Christian. They don't care. I sometime wonder if they wouldn't vote for satan himself if he were to tickle their ears just right. Satan would offer to drain the swamp and of course, fill it with his own kind of hell. Just like Trump, he didn't drain it, he just put his own alligators in. I think our current events are a refining process. It's a means of revealing those-who-don't-understand to those-who-do-understand. Honestly John, I think it's a wheat and tares thing.

It's a shame that with all the population of the United States we can't come up with two people to run for president and not have to vote for the lesser of two evils. I am 74 years old and never have I seen such a mess in this country.

Sure, let's all cast the first stone, shall we?

Trump has been casting a stadium full of stones for the last 5 years. So that argument doesn't fly.
