ready to fly

Been 3 weeks since I flew...beginning to wonder if it was just a dream.  Looks like the winds may calm down this weekend.  This wait is worse than the wait I had for training.  70,84,58,0,B

Best smelling desert flower at TFL

Vachellia constricta, often known as the whitethorn acacia, is a shrub native to Northwest Mexico, the Southwestern United States, and a quite disjunct eastern population in Virginia.  79,86,50,0,W

Delight in the law of the Lord

Psalms1:1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

almost ready

After about 20 hours of kiting practice, I am feeling confident about my first true solo flight.  This is how my day starts now...just in case the wind cooperates.  85,98,66,0,W

Aunt Mary Lou

Set the chicks out on the porch for the afternoon so they would have a chance to get to know their Aunts Mary Lou and Ginger.  Funny thing is...my real Aunt Mary Lou and my cousin Bruce are coming to visit me the first week of May. 85,97,62,0,B

top heavy

Met some folks a little over a week ago that recently bought property west of me...city folks got a chunk of getaway.  I didn't see it while they were here, but they told me they built an outhouse for the ladies to use when they are out.  Took a ride up and checked it out before our brush with the last rainstorm...quite a cute little pooper.  Right away I saw the flaw....tall, skinny structure - not anchored.  Sure enough it has since been toppled.  78,93,60,0,B
