Assembled some parts'n'wires and checked out the new motor controller....working better than expected. One of the 3 gear motors I ordered cooperated with the effort quite well. Just a few more tweaks and I will be ready for a "how to". Break in the middle of the day - a tour for my new buddy Chuck Monson from Looziana. John,
Really good soldering job. It should serve you very well. Looking forward to the "how to".
Nice soldering job... I've been building guitar effects for 5 years and I still don't get it that clean without luck lol
also I love how the shot of the assembly has that "mars rover on mars" vibe.
Back in the 70's I worked for ITT Courier down in Tempe, AZ and did ALOT of soldering. You have a steady hand J flux W.
nice solder beads! do you outsource your work? ;O)
please post a how to. as a photo nut, i'm interested!
Solderin job looks pretty good... what's up with the empty holes though??? :) ;)
Some sweet work, John. Looking forward to the "How To" also. I want one of these!
Your contraption looks like it not only rotates, but also sweeps from side to side, with the long arm and gears.
I sure admire your inventiveness, and your knowlege and dexterity with electronic components.
Checking in on your blog is always an entertaining and learning experience. Thanks for all you do and share.
power window assembly... Bosch? Took 4 motors out of my suburbsn that put me in a wheelchair in Feb96...put one of them in the mans truck that came to bury an electronic fence for my dog in 2004?...still have 3 left.
