the vortex...

Early billowy clouds built up in the area by noon today.  Did a supply and laundry run south to prep just in case.  Big storms built up all around today but the Field Lab Vortex kept the rain at bay.  Passed up on a party down in the Ghost Town tonight, watching the doppler expand and contract right before my very eyes all afternoon.  Not a drop here....but I was ready - just in case.  Here is the vortex in action...the cross hairs in the center of the frame is the location of TFL.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmiEbW8lriA  80,97,72,0,W
