Got the pad poured this morning...spotted some drought blooms all over the place out here. Started stripping down the payphone so I can clean it up and add new graphics and some solar powered lighting. They put those things together with lots of vandal-proof fasteners that ordinary tools don't like. 92,103,71,0,B

Where'd you get the phone? I've been wanting a fortress phones for years, but they're spendier than I'd like :(
Wow. Drought blooms are things of incredible beauty. What an awesome display.
Are you using the airstream as an extra reflector for the solar oven? Interesting idea.
Just Me - that looks like a dehydrator - not oven LOL But extra reflector - that's interesting...
I must have missed something - why are you putting in a pay phone?
I must have missed something - why are you installing a pay phone out there?
Just because
For those who asked about the phone, it's just John's unique vision and absurdist artistic sensibility. Go figure. You just got to love the idea of a pay phone in the middle of the desert...surreal! (then, again, maybe he's looking for an additional income stream - he does get a lot of visitors. imagine if each one of them made just one call)
Nice desert blossoms.
Benita looks like she can hardly wait to call that cousin of hers.
I was thinking the same thing about the Airstream reflecting light onto the Solar Oven.
