Carl looks bad wet!
Did you collect any water off the roof of the greenhouse?
Gotta love the rain.
Over an inch! That's amazing.
You're truly blessed with all of that water. We're hoping that we get so lucky when I come down to buy our land next week. All I want is a couple of nice, deep arroyos on the property. Here's hoping!

poor Mr. (and Mrs.) Floppy and Carl. hope the lady chicks didn't have to swim. ya'll keep an eye on the swamp for wayward critters.
NO ARROYOS (runing or not) anywhere in the greater big bend areas chris miller
rain just an exeptional event during very few times during the year. i understand john has posted several times the periods of no rain .it is a desert.
love rained wet foppy s pic dude
Not true arroyos I guess, but wet weather creeks - you know. I just need a piece of property where water will run when water runs. I'll take care of the rest. ;)

Wonderful rain! Here in East Texas we have an expression: "mad'ern a wet hen" Looks like that applys to roosters as well.
Perfect photographic explanation of why there is flash flooding! Love it so much I'm showing it to my algebra students Monday!
John:
Hands down, your funniest post ever.

(visited you from ND last year).
Glad you got some rain. Carl and The Flopster look miserable. Did you harvest much?
Made me laugh...
