first fence run

First run (the shortest) went well.  I have read about and watched enough video to feel like I've done field fencing even though I never have.  It all happened like it was supposed to and was actually pretty easy.  Pulled it tight as per instructions and my ends didn't budge.   69,82,45,0,C,0

Very nice! Barbed wire on top perhaps?

Looks good, but I am wondering what the purpose is. Are you trying to keep Ben in or other animals out? Generally containment fencing is stronger when the T post is on the outside. Thus when the animal pushes against the fencing, he is also pushing against the post. I am also wondering what will happen when Ben's friends come visiting. Stock fencing is OK, but barb wire is better for cattle.

Very nice John, it really looks like it's coming together. You have accomplished a lot since I was there last week.

You do such a good job John. The Pen looks super. Think about putting up a "Detour Cow Path" sign on some of the posts since they're used to cutting across that area.

I hate it when my ends bulge.

Looks like you'll have the straightest fence west of the Pecos.

I think there is a need to provide some more information about field fencing since it is actually very necessary to provide it.
