prophesying...

A lot of Christians are sharing stories from religious leaders and how they believe Donald Trump has been sent by God to save the nation.  It is very dangerous to trust any politician...and even more dangerous to trust the words of mortal men proclaiming prophecy.

2 Peter 2

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

"Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down,
and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
(Matthew 7:16-20)

God bless America.
Guide our leaders and pastors.
Help us to help them and each other.
Help us all strive to know and do your will.
Make us the city on a hill you would have us be.
In Jesus name, amen.

"Ye are the light of the world.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."
(Matthew 5:14)

Religious leaders are mortal men and that is their own opinion. So what and who cares. God is the only one who judges.

How very true; and the last time God spoke directly to anyone was Moses, I believe. Anybody these days that claims to have spoken to Him directly, is usually found, to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

God definitely still speaks through His precious Holy Spirit

And God speaks to us all through His living Holy Word,
the Bible.

Well said John. I respect any Christian that stands up and says, Donald Trump is not one of us, and does not represent our principles. We may have different reasons for mistrusting this man, but - I'll just say I think your Christianity serves you well (and you it) on this one.

I do have one question for all the Christians out there saying we should pray for Donald Trump and the other "leaders" he is gathering around him. Did you pray for President Obama? Or maybe you prayed *about* President Obama, for him to fail, like the GOP leadership wanted so badly to happen. If so - you are hypocrites, for following your Christian precepts cafeteria style. May you reap the whirlwind.

I would call them false based on the ten thousand other things they've said wrong, and/or the ten thousand statements that can't really be falsified.

In this case, it may be a blessing, or it may be a curse. But whatever it was, it sure upset the apple-cart of evil.

It galls me every time I see that nonsense. Trump the savior, what a crock. Yes, he sits on a gold throne alright, his gold plated commode. Spent his whole life in selfishness and abusing people and getting away with it. 70% of everything he says is a blatant lie and then he denies saying although it's on video for everyone to see.

I urge all those who have such belief in this man to enroll in Trump university, how can you lose with God behind your man?

Almost forgot...I want to ask the 'religious leaders' what they think about Donald's bragging on how he barges into the teenage girls dressing room while they're changing?

Trump was not sent by God, he was permitted to be become a last choice.
Between Barabbas or old scratch.
