DIY Optician

Sat on my reading glasses about a month ago and have been fighting with a duct tape repair ever since.  Finally resorted to a tiny drill bit and a paper clip.  54,60,34,0,B

Stronger than brand new.

Don't you have a spare pair? Might be a good idea.

Nothing better than do it yourself repairs. My brother in long term care seems to know he needs no line bifocals. Tomorrow we are going to discuss readers, WalMart $9.97 for 3 pairs...I've been using them for years.

Clever. Yes, I know those problems. I do not have to wear glasses except for tiny print. But I wear them most of the time anyway. But now when I take them off I make myself put them in another room in the same safe place. I cherish my glasses. When I was young my adopted mother would not allow me to wear glasses because of my looks so the first thing I did when I left was put on the glasses to read.
