Part three of how to build a small 12 VDC swamp cooler that actually works. In this episode I cut and install the evaporative pad, mount the fans, mount the front screen, and use a metal bending break to make a quick little piece of custom ductwork. Ingenious.
Sounds like your burro might have a bearing going out.
That noise was coming out of Chupa...
Lol, Sam. I thought it was an odd sounding burro too.
How close can you get to the Burro?
Can you scratch his/her nose?
Cool, John...you're streamlining and perfecting the Pepino process and it's cool to see the build.
I'm thinking about adapting your process and creating a portable Pepino of sorts for my next campervan build. This build will be 4x4 on an extended body cargo van, set up for both long-term desert and BLM dry camping and northern tier winter camping. She'll have lots of solar and otherwise be self-contained. A Pepino unit will come in handy when in dry desert areas of the country.
I'll send pics, and if it passes muster, I'll put 'Pepino/TFL, Burro Approved' on the side--or maybe a cool cucumber with beads of water on it--and point folks towards your blog and youtube channel ;)
Heh - I'm daydreaming a cool as a cucumber Pepino character; a cuke with a cowboy hat down over his eyes, tilting a porch chair back onto two legs, feet up on a rail and a cold, perspiring drink in his hand. . .
Road...you might just be on to something there.
