TFL is about 20 miles north of the town of Terlingua...west of highway 118 and Terlingua Ranch Rd.

John, Got me a cheap Mavic Pro impostor, VISUO XS809HW, on ebay for Christmas... Foldable, auto take of and land, altitude hold, 2.0MP HD camera with WIFI FPV transmission, high/low speed, one-key return function.
Also got me a mini quad Syma X21 for flight practice fun.

I watched the MN Vikings play the WI Green Bay Packers last evening. Vikings 16 - Packers 0. Good game. (I had a former Packer player friend who became MIA leading a Green Beret mission in Nam). I was watching a lineup of big white men (Vikings) against a lineup of now big black men (Packers). (And every fumble pass was made by a black player when the Viking white player threw him a ball). The Vikings were so good (precise, smart, and strong) and their quarterback Klumen (?) is Irish from TX. He was great. (I channel-surf. That's how I caught it). For instance in the old days when my relative Woody Hayes and before coached Ohio State U. football we had all white and then less players like Hopalong (Howard) Cassidy. One thing is certain - change.

Jon P... Have fun - but be careful with the short range of wifi controlled drones - they are easy to lose once signal is lost. Unlike the Mavic Pro, they just land - they don't come home. There is a reason why cheap drones are cheap...limited range (about 50 yards), fixed camera without a gimbal, wifi latency/low frame rate, and very short flight times.

It is Case Keenum, Viking quarterback. Sorry.

hmmm, wonder if use of the goggles would violate the "line of sight" requirement in the regs?
wondered too if use of the goggles ever made you airsick - or caused disorientation?

1. Use of FPV goggles does violate the line of sight requirement and a second person acting as a spotter must be used.

2. Use of the googles does mess with your mind a little.

Greetings,
I've just watched a lil bit of your story on YouTube and then I figured I'll check in on you, and here I am.
Do you plan on making an update video as you do have some fans out there.
