Chat GPT

More AI explorations on yet another "too hot to be outside" day.
Decided to try out Chat GPT and instructed it as follows:
"write a brief summary of The Field Lab blog on blogger".
This is what it came up with in about 5 seconds.  For some reason it used the name Mark throughout the summary, so I changed all the instances to my name.

What version did you use?
I couldn't get their freebie, only the subscription.
Google and MS still have free ones.

I’ve been using some version since January. Finally bought the $40.00 app, Ask AI version 4 I think. About the first 100 times I used it I was shxttin hamazed, now just use it as a search engine-faster, more concise, no ads and pages of crap to find an answer. Today I got answers on oxygen saturation levels, what to expect from a high resolution CT, and this evening a quick recipe for pan fried rainbow trout. Bye bye Google and similars…

This just in on TV (for real). AI finds conservative women more attractive.

You do realize that AI very well could be an integral part of the BEAST system

It is my hope that AI will end up thwarting those who try to abuse it.

I too have (cautiously) climbed on the AI wagon. Much like you John, I think the best way to keep it from turning into a nemesis for humans is to work with it an understand it. Hopefully, in the process AI will learn that humans are not the problem.
