undermining my authority

Well...I put it off for as long as I could.  Finally got started cleaning up inside the greenhouse.  Chucked 6 tomato plants and 2 jalapenos that just weren't producing and my 2 pear trees that died.  Took 4 hours to make sense of the west end.  Ever since I finished the pavers, some critters have been tunneling underneath an pulling "my oh so carefully leveled" sand out and depositing it on top.  Still not sure who is responsible but it's a mess and some of the pavers are lopsided now - toads, lizards, rats?  72,84,67,0,B,0

Gophers, moles or rabbits. In your part of the country anytime any of these find dirt they can tunnel into they take full advantage.

Greenhouse is looking good. I like the ladies on the wall. For the pavers, just remember, no good deed goes unpunished

looks like the work of ants or similar denizen of the dirt.

I would bet on ants also.

Do you have a fan in your greenhouse, something to keep the air circulating. I would think there are ways to keep happy, healthy plants in your greenhouse all year long.

but wouldn't you see the ants if you knocked the dirt around? They usually scramble when bothered. Anyway, let us know what you find.

Ants typically don't build mounds if their subsurface tunnels aren't being flooded. The sand on top of the pavers would be what they have dropped off from their current tunneling project.

Whoah guy !Ants like to move inside when it's wet.But then again, that's a lot of dirt for ants !Everything is bigger in Texas, apparently the ants too.
That hole between the pavers looks like it's an inch in diameter.Mighty big for an ant hole. How did you get and inch gap
in the pavers ?If it was me,I think I'd take the AR in there with the bug juice..just in case ?
