The animals that surround you are really adorable :]
If I may ask a favor of you - whenever you have a chance to, I would love to see more of Ben and Buddy :] I've been following even since you took him in :]
I see you have room for god's creature on your plate next to the backed potato
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Gen. 9:3
Leviticus 11:7-8
"And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. 8 You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you."
There are so many contradictions in the Christian bible that you can do damn near anything you want and justify it with a bible verse.
I've always had a distaste for the bible verse that man shall have "dominion over all the things of the earth". My personal interpretation is that indicates stewardship, not the "right" to use everything up, as we currently seem to be doing. I'll probably go see the Noah movie, because apparently that is the message - treat the earth and its creatures with respect, so sayeth the Lord!
