well there are about 200 countries on the planet and we are all free to find the ones that suit us best but I'm betting the USA still ranks among the top.

there are still billions of folks who have no choice but to live "off the grid"... and I'd say John is living pretty high off the hog in the good old USA.. He's got a good road, DSL, and nearby civilization where he can buy pretty much whatever he wants and if not there - he can have it delivered via UPS to his place.

so we can always look at whether the glass if half full or half empty.. but sometimes we take so much for granted when we get into carp mode.

I celebrate John and his ability to do - what many, many people on this planet will never be able to do. Good for him. Good for the USA.

A Line in the sand....
I have in fact been to almost every country or region in this world. I have seen the reality of these countries and regions and my friends we are racing towards a fate in this county that will pale all others ....unless you personally "Draw that line in the sand. God bless America !
