Evangelical Christians are now called upon to think strategically about what it means to speak truthfully and lovingly to a society that increasingly sees us as the moral outlaws. Clearly, we must watch our speech carefully, measuring every word for truth and tone and avoiding incendiary sound bites. We must also guard our hearts toward the persistent temptation towards self-righteousness. But, at the same time, even the most humble statement of biblical truth can now be turned into a sound bite described as hate speech and a refusal to affirm the normalization of sin is turned into repulsive intolerance. We now face no shortage of arguments for capitulation, but abandoning the truth of God’s Word is not an option. We deny the gospel if we deny the sinfulness of sin. Every sin. Our sin.

Well each to their own. I cannot change other people.
I was with a beautiful Christian couple today in West Texas. He is a minister and does active work throughout the community and she is the lovely and gracious pastors wife. Certain other couples who are defiantly showing who they are in puiblic now, I just continue past.

The Benham Brothers – Whatever the Cost
"It's fun to follow Jesus
until you find out where He's going."
the brothers describe what it took
to live according to their faith
under intense media pressure.
God will have the final say in all this. It is a shame that someone can now be persecuted for being a Christian and wanting to follow his word as he has commanded. His wrath is coming for those that have turned against him and flaunt such sinful ways. You are so correct in that it has become a country of political correctness is ruling us. The only problem there is that Christians are not in that protected class. The Supreme Court created a monster and we can only stand by our beliefs and stand strong.
Jesus said:
"These things I command you, that ye love one another.
If the world hate you,
ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:
but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you,
The servant is not greater than his lord.
If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;
if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake,
because they know not him that sent me.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin:
but now they have no cloak for their sin.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also."
(John 15:17-23)
John, I wonder how your new cooling system has worked in your dwelling?
