Oh dear. You did get a downpour! And Ben got a big ole bath. And the chickens got drenched. Oh dear. We've been getting it pretty regularly each day. Stay safe. Glad you got supplies.
There was so much rain coming down I didn't even notice Ben until Rita said something about a him getting a bath.
I think Ben is smiling but I can't tell for sure.? ;)
And due to 40 plus years of making the Terlingua Ranch roads ever deeper - most of them - now turn into little creeks when it rains!
Rain in the desert is always good.
You're really settled in out there now aren't you. Beautiful pictures.
Aw, home sweet home.
looks like the monsoon season is starting EARLY?
Well, I would have some farm animals too if I lived there. I would have a goat for milk, maybe some bees for honey, maybe some hens and a rooster, and of course a horse since I am a Cossock Russian/Mongolian and it was in the blood to ride horses. (Except maybe I should not be riding horses anymore).
A kayak would be fun!
Jim,
I think I have a solution for a dam with over flow.
I look at how they have cut your roads and they look like canals rather than road, when it rains you need a boat to get out....they need to learn how to build and maintain a road!
