XXX Merry Christmas !!!!!! Hope your day is a peaceful and joyous one. You should head into town today; and just be obnoxious to everyone for a change. You could use some entertainment!

Merry Christmas John. May God bless you and all yours at TFL, as well as all those who visit on line and in person.

Merry Christmas to you and all the critters that inhabit that lovely piece of desert that you call home.

Happy Jesus' Birthday John!

Note: the Santa hat on Ben is the very same hat from the video I shot 11 years ago.

Merry Christmas from Finland to you and the animal friends!

Merry Christmas, will Ben ever get a roommate?

Yes, how about getting Ben a heifer companion in 2017! Then you won't have gelding issues. I still feel sad about Ben's friend that got sent to the knacker. Merry Christmas John & fellow blog-followers! (See, no war on Christmas from this non-believer!)

No more cattle for me...Ben is expensive enough to feed as is. As long as Javier keeps coming in at night, Ben is happy. If anything, I will get a goat for him as a companion.

I still vote for a rescue dog. We could have a name-that-dog contest! ;-)

No more dogs for me...too much emotional attachment.

I know what you mean John. Dogs steal your heart. Each time I lose one I say no more, but I can't seem to go very long without their companionship. It's painful at the end but I think the dogs would say its worth it.

Harsh reality: It can be more painful to lose some dogs than it is to lose some people. We should all appreciate our many blessings.

What Sam said. My dog just turned 8 and I am already dreading her passing. I'll get a second dog pretty soon now. Agree that a goat, or a couple of goats? --would make a fine companion for Ben!
