Satan bagged one of many in style this year at Burning Man.
An attendee died after jumping into the flames from the festival's signature burning effigy last night.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Amen. But I still think that just because someone parades around because they go to a certain church does not give them a pass to insult others or does not mean the church attendee is better than others and they can band together, right or wrong, and fight against someone. (Only support each other in God's walk). Each to their own choice. God knows our hearts and we are all God's creatures. So that does not give me the right to criticize God's work. A religious leader once told me that sinners might go to church trying to be better but we have to remember the good that the Church has stood for through the years (the Bible). Sorry for the high horse upset. I also like it when Sam shares. He is so gifted in saying the right thing for the moment. My parents always said to think before I put my mouth in gear. My children used to think I was too rigid in some of my views and a female cousin once called me a prune because I did not party like her. But I do not have a criminal record like a lot of the people I know here in AA (cannot drink or drug because it is in my DNA). Then AA people would tell me, too much info. Anyway, TY for the message today.
when you gotta, you gotta go, suicide or drugs? doubt Satan had a Pass to BM
Bless his heart, God needed another angel in heaven.
The stark reality is this: according to Scripture, there are only two kinds of people---those who on bended knee confess Jesus as Lord; and those unbowed, who experience eternal separation from God's grace and goodness.
All of this, of course should motivate us to make a difference while there is yet time. In his providence God has ordained both the ends and the means. He has ordained those who take his sacred name upon their lips to be his ambassadors so that the gospel may go forth to the end of the earth. Rather than despairing about our own future potential for joy, therefore, our compassion for the unsaved should motivate us to preach the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ while there is yet time. Daniel 12:3” (Excerpt from the book AfterLife by Hank Hanegraff)
John, please remember the family of the guy in your prayers, I work with his father. They are terribly shocked and grieving.
Why would he do that?
