Are Chupa or the bunnies in danger from encouraging the raven/crow?
Raven are cool. Hope you can befriend him/her.

Judy, this is what Cornell University has to say about Chihuahuan Ravens which is the most likely one in Big Bend area.

The Raven
In Alaska a Raven would swoop around me when I was walking and then then land beside me on the high snow bank and hop along beside me and we would just talk and talk.
But one evening there was a crowd in the yard next to my place. They were around an injured Raven. One man took the Raven home and was going to call Wild Life Rescue the next day. That made me sad when I looked at the Raven and he looked at me. We did not know what happened to him. (One little girl always rode her bike there with her protective Dalmatian dog. ???)
