The stripes on the legs make me wonder if it is a Zedonk as I think they are called.
What a loving, grateful look. Poor fellow.
Not a Zedonk or Zonkey...their stripes are a much more pronounced black and white striping like a zebra. While this burro's leg stripes are rather unusual, they are not out of the ordinary for a donkey or burro.
What a sweetheart! I hope he finds a good loving home where he can stay forever.
