Great job Mr Wells that is going to be one great house. Your client is going to be very happy with the house.
it all seems so much bigger in Texas…
"Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock."
(Luke 6:47-48 King James Version) (KJV)
Hey Sam Finn - you are right about John Well's - impressive house building construction! Not likely any flood will ever rise to the top of the hill - where the new house is located - to test it's construction. However, the Lord tests houses built near the top of a hill - with an even sterner test - vey great wind! And I suspect the fierce winds will beat against that house - but not move it downhill - because the foundations are founded on deep cement rocks. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Like I said earlier - I have seen two Terlingua Ranch cabins - blown completely off the top of two hills in the past 45 years! It certainly looks like - John builds a house - to stay where he placed it!
