Took 8.5 hours to get all the roof sheathing up over 4 days (with a couple of rain days off in between). I designed the sheathing layout to minimize waste. 36 pieces with less than a half sheet in the scrap pile. Neato. You pick good music to go along with the work too. Liked the train in the beginning.
Were there airplane shadows overhead or clouds I wonder.
Those were clouds.
Coming right along. What's up next? Will you be working on the inside to get out of this heat?
no...still lots of exterior work to do. But at least I have a shady spot to rest under.
Mr. Wells, It's been a long time since I have been to Lajitas and other places down in that great country, too long on fact. Watching you work in high-speed, I can still tell that you are real efficient. I was wondering, however, why the wall sheathing first, instead of the roof? Structural integrity, maybe, or if the wind kicks up with no wall sheathing??
Just interested, great work, very cool site.
