Recently, I just happened to notice a structure off in the distance on my way to work. The only reason it caught my eye is because there were a few other vehicles there for a day or two. Here is a closer look with the drone. Turns out it isn't new construction after all and I'm not really sure if someone is actively working on it. Checking the satellite view on Google Earth ( you can scroll back in time all the way to 1996), this structure has been there for over 20 years...it even had a roof 2 years ago. Im sure this has been covered elsewhere but please indulge me: what is the make/model of the drone/camera you use for these aerial videos? And how has your experience been with it? Recommended?
My drone is a DJI Mavic Pro. It has worked flawlessly for over 2 years with well over 100 hours of flight time. I highly recommend it.
ruin coordinates? thought I could spot the stone circle, but no luck…
keep looking....
my eye is fried - did see this ruin… 29.525208, -103.677371
The drone comes home to Papa. Appropriate music. Good selection. Evidently someone is still keeping their interests there. Was that the man with the children who lived there?
How do you go scroll back in time on Google Earth?

…a small bone?? milage from tfl to jobsite?
OK... ruin is 1.68 miles SW of TFL
…multas gratias! (I take back some of the uncomplimentary things I muttered under my breath… ;-))
— I find topography from directly overhead confusing & hard on the eye -
used GooMaps - place still has roof there
(had roamed that area, but missed it - quite the long road - from the "main road" in to it)
GooEarth must be more current… close on the jobsite? - 1.1 miles from tfl, off Lavaca RD…?
overheads
Jobsite is 29 32 22.17 N, 103 35 43.06 W
thanks for the correction - I was way off - the access road doesn't even show yet…
but your airfield certainly stands out…
