Field Lab tours this morning for Rik...then Ron and family. Did a little work on my dirty batteries and found that a gust out of the west yesterday scootched my north tank about a foot. I scootched it back. Got hot quick so I hid inside for the rest of the day and read. 100,113,64,0,B

Hi John,
I ended up going back to Terlingua for dinner, and at 7:30pm my car thermometer registered 110 degrees. From there, I went back up to the Chisos Basin, and one hour later I was experiencing 84 degrees. Just at bed time it is quite breezy and about 73 degrees - very nice!
Whoo, Whoo 113 Degrees....
I love it. I miss the Desert and a I miss Swamp Coolers.
Before anybody thinks Im crazy, I grew up in El Paso and I joined the military and went to the Persian Gulf were it was evan hotter.
Well I guess you gonna have to haul some tanks of water in and then pump it up on the roof of the green house to test the system and to get enough weight in the barrels to keep them in place.
i so miss the desert...
hey john, when are you getting more benita mugs? i have some gift-giving to do.
Better get some scootchnot...
It's about time for the rainy season to begin. Hope you get those tanks filled soon, so they'll stay in place.
