Alpine'o'rama

Early morning run up north.  Ran into my friends Debbie and Mark at the Alpine Farmers Market.  They run Little Red Wagon - Alpine's largest year round organic growers.  Boiling up some of their funky sweet potatoes for dinner tonight.  Placed an order for more "carbon heavy" concrete products for the courtyard to be delivered next week.  Also picked up snacks for my favorite longhorn.

Got home about 2 to find about 16 longhorns lounging in the shade - I think they must have known I'd been shopping for them.  As long as they were here - I gave the group a snack.  My new best friends from Houston stopped by this afternoon for the FL tour.   I ran into Tonya and Shawn down in Study Butte a couple of days ago and invited them out.  They have a desert refuge way out in the Solitario.  61,81,40,0,C

Maybe someone will tell me what "carbon heavy" concrete is.

And the meaning of the numbers like 61,81,40,0,C on a post.

Cool longhorns.

BBC "carbon heavy" is used by the green beans that believe the so called global warming is caused by mans burning of fossil fuels that release carbon when burned. One of them durned carbon burn'in trucks had to haul those pavers to McCoys and then to JW's place. Probably used some electricity to make them too. OH NO!

The numbers are a secret code. Only those in the secret club know the code. Oops I have already said too much.

Really? "le marais"? Fry them up with some jalipenos and remember you are in TERLINGUA.

I think John needs to return all those carbon making pavers and make his own Saltillo tile and he can't use wood to fire them neither.
He will have to fire them with his solar magnifying glass. Burning wood is a no no.

He has lots of free time on his hands and needs another project or two anyway.

Bad carbon. Bad, bad carbon.

Love the funky yams.

Nice looking young couple. Glad to see some younger folk investing in the area. I've heard that the Solitario is wonderful country.

BBC, the numbers at the bottom of the post are as follows: Temperature at the time of the blog post (usually around 8 pm), high temp for the day, low temp for the day, rainfall amount, and wind conditions (Calm, Windy, Gusty, etc...) Welcome to the club. You are now officially sworn to secrecy.

Ah shit, don't swear me to secrecy, I'm a damn blabber mouth.
