stormnot

Chores and errands all morning.  Piddled the afternoon away.  Huge storm rolled in from the east around 5PM.  The vortex held firm - just a sprinkle but wind gusts up to 50mph.  Shifted an empty 3000 gallon water tank about 15 feet.  Plenty of stuff to go gather that blew around.  82,103,70,0,G

when a STORMS passes by where might they go ? interesting to see know man. What i liked the most of yur burro is that he acts PROTECTIVE like if were a dog when someone aproaches warning yu the land owner and master.

That was an awesome looking storm. Sorry you missed it. Seems you got just the wind to scatter your stuff, and none of the water. Bummer. Better luck next time.

Sheesh.... I heard some stories a few minutes ago in the Yahoo groups about the wind. Apparently one of Ron's buildings was blown over into another one? I guess I better figure out how the heck we're going to secure ours before we move into it haha

What's this i hear about the grub shack closing AGAIN? Is everything OK there?

John,

Are you using a Digital Flowmeters and Totalizers for Liquid Measurements on your main water into the greenhouse. I'd like to know how much water you're using a day for the plants currently inside the greenhouse. Also how much water your using relative to the temperature outside.

It would be cool to see usage over the next five or six months as your greenhouse really comes alive.

Currently Im using 20 gallons per day in the greenhouse for watering. When it gets over 105°, I run the misting system in the late afternoon which uses another 10 gallons. I have about 8,000 gallons stored.
