That plant looks like something I saw during a trip I took back in the 60's.

The JALEPENO is getting red, Ben's teeth are developing, the walls got a lot of work done on them today. Great progress! Recent pic of spinach makes my mouth water, need recipies? Time to harvest, and yes I'm jealous. We are out of season for 'greens' here unless it is beet tops, kale or Swiss chard.

John, I haven't seen this addressed before in your blog.

I was wondering what the longhorns are there for? Are they just sort of feral and left to forage for themselves? Doesn't seem like they are being raised for any specific purpose. They seem more relaxed than your average beef cattle.

Somebody gave me some frozen longhorn steaks a few months ago, I can state categorically it was the worst beef I ever attempted to eat, tough as nails and completely tasteless with no fat whatsoever! Threw it all out.

That plant with the lavender squigglies coming out of it looks surreal.

Nice progress on the interior wall.

Super portrait of a chili.

Ben's little snout is very interesting up close. I wonder how you got him to open up like that.
