Father's Day

We Are God’s Children

1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has for us that He would call us His children. And that is what we are. For this reason the people of the world do not know who we are because they did not know Him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now. But it has not yet been shown to us what we are going to be. We know that when He comes again, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is. The person who is looking for this to happen will keep himself pure because Christ is pure.

I love this....Thank you it's exactly what I needed right now! I just found you through a YouTube video that someone re posted of an "interview"/story about your "situation" lol. I followed the link he posted to the original video and then found your blog link on it! I so agree with your statement about lonely people vs lonely places. I could so do what you are doing (every last bit of it even though I'm a female lol, I have lots of building experience in fact I built several huge Decks and a large "mudroom" with lots of built in storage etc, during the 8th and 9th months of pregnancy with my last child. In fact I finished the mudroom less than 24hrs before I gave birth to him lol!) Unfortunately I'm one of those statistics that you spoke about (lost my home of 26 yrs that was on acreage in the Country recently...things piled up on me quicker than I could deal with them and I now reside in a Rental in the middle of the City with my Daughter & Granddaughter. Not my favorite place to be but I'm trying to make the best of it!) I don't get out much and catch a lot of flack for it! It's not that I'm "antisocial" as people say, in fact I'm a very sociable person (when I get out lol)! I'm just always working on some project or another or doing research for some reason or another and don't have a lot of extra I find that I don't need outside "contact" or entertainment to keep my mind and body active/stimulated! Honestly I just plain enjoy being by myself, guess that's hard for some people to understand!
