Gluing mirrors to a 30" satellite dish for my solar fryer upgrade. It took 2 hours and 49 minutes to do the job (I know the exact time because the 967 time lapse images are time stamped - compiled in Windows Movie Maker @ .07 sec/frame). 838 one inch diameter mirrors - ended up 52 mirrors short. I used E6000 adhesive to attach them to the dish. The smaller dish I was experimenting with had 290 mirrors. This new/improved version will have 890 mirrors total when the additional mirrors arrive next week. "Comic Effect" applied in Adobe Premier Elements 15. Would you mind sharing how far from the parabolic surface center you will have the focal plane (or point); and what is the ratio of that distance to the diameter of your dish ? Thanks.

I discovered E-6000 at a local farm store a couple years ago. This is some great silicone, works well on everything I have tried it on.

I would have enjoyed the movie more with we had some popcorn! Can't wait to see this baby in action...
