Still dry as a bone here and the chances of rain look pretty slim. 70,81,61,0,B

Up here in the piney woods it's running in the 40-50's daytime and nights down in the 30-40's. The snow is gone and the snoozers are waking up ... skunks, coons, bears and chipmonks are all moving around. The frogs were singing back in the swamp two nights ago. Any day now the Michigan yard sales should start budding out!
Ong almost 100 already. Rain is predicted here just north of San Antonio at random for another week.
Lol, Sam. I thought that sounded like MI. I remember those frogs singing.
Are you in the U.P. Sam? I was in Marquette after Sault Ste. Marie (in those days I thought no one could find me because they could not spell the names or say them and the snow would keep them out in the winter). I think the Keweenaw Peninsula is neat. There are some men and women who come down here from there and MN but they all go back and I do not see them again. Years ago one lady was here from MA camping in Auistin and I had to chuckle because mostly all I heard was cursing under her breath (something about heat, bugs, sand). :-) We have some Canadians here too, but sometimes they have to go back because the law found them here.

I could tell my daughter was excited and impressed and asked me about my ethnicity when she found out she was part Scandinavian and Finnish because she had friends from there when she was a child in the U.P. I have relatives who were born in Norway and Sweeden.
Northern lower peninsula ... but I can speak a little Yooper.
John: We have made several pilgrimages to the Marfa/Alpine,Ft.Davis area and I will never forget the night skies filled with stars and the opportunity to view the Milky Way once more. Many people have no idea what they are missing because of the "urban sky glow."
Enjoy your nights under the stars.
