This was the job that really boosted my career in NYC. The creative director of Discovery Channel Stores loved my work and ended up hiring me to build monitors for several stores over the next 2 years. When he left the position, a new creative director took over and oversaw a job already in motion for a store in LA. She hated me and my work and thus ended that gravy train... John, your story is the same as mine. Over the years this happened many times as a photographer. A new person takes over your client's job and wants to do their own thing and hire their own people.
