He doesn't look happy. His new name must be shorty

a year? wonder how far he roamed... or how close family might be? Be careful, especially out around the hay bales.

Hideous things...somehow I have got to get over my fear of them or I will never be able to move to my beloved Terlingua :(

Did you shoot it?

I wouldn't be too worried about rattlesnakes. I have only seen 6 or 7 of them near my house in 10 years of living out here. I shot him in the head with a .22 rifle.

I showed my 89 year mother the video of you cleaning the rattler ... she doesn't want the recipe.

a possible silver casting? impressive that the eye was holding & dust free.

Did you eat him and keep the skin to tan? Makes good rattlesnake tinders (cooked like chicken tenders) and hat bands!

Just noticed Sam Finn's comment about you cleaning him and found your youtube channel for the first time! Nice job cleaning him...your approach to removing the backbone works really well. Never seen it done that way.

May you be visited with plagues of rodents for killing this snake.

Did not God make him as well??

You "Christians" make me weep.
