slowing down time...

I bought this watch during a trip to Russia in the late 80's. I used to wear it quite a lot back in those days. It stopped working a long time ago has been sitting in storage for almost 30 years. When I recently serviced it and got it going again, I found it was running about 5 minutes fast per hour. Not only did I demagnetize it as in the video, I also cleaned the balance spring that was gunked up with oil and dust. Those are the most common problems that will cause a watch to run so fast. Finally got it regulated for accuracy to within 30 seconds per 24 hours. Baila Mi Cumbria by Jimmy Fontanez / Media Right Productions.
