You're going to need somebody inside to buck those rivets. Make sure you practice to avoid "smiles" around the manufactured head. If you go with blind rivets, make sure you spend the money for the ones that don't leak.
Seems to be quite a few rivets there. I'm pretty sure you'll be well educated by the time you're done :-)
I'm wondering if rivets are not obsolete...
Why would you need to remove the rivets from the shell. Just curious

With the rivet gun & universal rivets it is the set-up, the preparation that is tedious, proper numeric drill bit, hole deburred, proper clamping, some sealant in bore & under head - and then expand rivet shaft 50% over original and you're done - takes about three seconds...
Trimming over-length buck rivet shafts as you work along is easy with a spacer and sharp wood chisel. Perhaps easier to get a pound-plus of long rivets and trim each one than juggle five different length rivets.
Oh - and using a high speed drill, well over 4000rpm, say a air die-grinder (rotozip, dremel(barely)) with drill bit chucked into it that produces hair thin shavings or dust chips is a blessing vs. wrestling a low rpm drill (1200-1600rpm cordless) will save a lot of time and trouble... And just nab Cobalt 'jobber' bits, ignore HSS or Titanium coated, they will pay for themselves before the project is finished...
