Probably something in the bible about this sort of situation...
;-)
Looks like you've got some serious choring to do when you're back to 100%
Looks like my place after I tidy up. :-)
just starting to chip away at 8 months of chaos...I'm tired of the view
You have done very well considering everything. It is a good sign you are beginning to feel like tidying up. I have an old saying that applies to almost everything I do these days, "hard by the yard, cinch by the inch." Just keep chipping away and it will get done.
Dear John,
When your up to it. Will you PLEASE straighten the file cabinet? It's driving me nuts.
Thanks,
Anthony
Beautiful structure that you built. Where in the world did you find a tilt bed truck to deliver your cargo containers? I'm serious.
I see yard sale writ all over that pic. Glad to hear you get'n some gunpshun to clean up a bit. An' straighten that damn crookit cabinet.
Yes, the old Billy Bob is still around keep'n a close eye on ya.
lol@Larry. I think it's something about sloth that none of us are guilty of. :-)
I talked to a co. in San Antonio that delivers. Seems like there would be something closer. And waiting for a road. Guess you have to be right there or do your own work. So I improved my place here. There is a four year waiting list for an adobe house. I heard about the squatters there. Lets see, what else could be wrong? :-) Whenever I say that, I think of the coffee shops in Columbus, Ohio, so many complaints. One person said there that a person who works stays out of jail. In Texas, I have been so impressed with the positive, can-do attitudes. Really I have not tried extremely hard. TY Janet - inch than yard - true. Take it easy John. Doing well. And how do the people get the nice cabins? Build them themselves. And dome houses resist wind, but how about hail, etc. Oh well, maybe a nice big camper truck. Fun to dream - scattered.
I feel like my house is close to your mess. 3 months of a virus this winter, then a month of pneumonia. Had about 2 months to get most of my canning done and I now I just destroyed my big toe (compound fracture) from dropping a 14" cast iron skillet on it. Down for the count again for a couple of months from attacking anything really serious. I had no idea that they take a Big toe break so seriously. Pins and cast. They said it is the foundation of my balance so has to heal correctly. Hard to get ahead of the STUFF that seems to accumulate without daily attention. Oh well, still wake up every day so can't be all bad.
Rondeb, I added up all the months you've been afflicted -- six months going on eight. Yikes! Hang in there . . .
So, when are you going to move into that apartment you built?
Everything in its place a place for everything my Mom said. Once I figured out where that place was, it took me six years to get it there. I had to open it up, decide to keep or throw away, find a just the right place for it, and then get it there. My constant companion, depression, was in the way, so working around it was a heavy chore in itself. In the mean time it was either I had to step over it and ignore it, or find another place for it to be laid. It has been three weeks since I got it done. Everything seems to be where it is suppose to be, for now. Hope it will stay there when my companion comes back to roost.
So many times you've clean some room up in short order. I am amazed at how you got it done. After watching you over the years, I know it will. Looking forward to the picture of WOW.
My name is Jay. Have not figured out how to change "Wishing you Peace".

I like the symbolism of the crutches leaning against the four wheeler. Glad your healing up well.
I was going to comment on the ironic symbolism also.. didn't know if John has done it
on purpose or not...
TY John. I called and they have good products and services and prices. Takes time. Other contingencies.
