Need to use some of that stored water and maybe critter proof the growing area.
never quite got the details how that quite sustain itself. Was it insects or disease or lack of water or critters getting in?
is it no longer feasible or you're going to get back into it?
thanks.
correction .. how that did NOT quite sustain....
I didn't put all that work into the building to just give up...even though I am a much better builder than a farmer.
I saw this on faircompanies video, https://youtu.be/H4gsnFJRAB0
Tried my hand at growing something this year for the first time. Tomatoes, watermelon and cucumbers. Got4 cucumbers (expensive little suckers) got 2 watermelons (each about 8 inches in diameter) LOL. Got tons of tomatoes, however most didn't arrive until early fall. Just brought in a huge box of green tomatoes (trying to beat the freeze) hope some of them ripen. Was an expensive test, but I did discover I don't have a very good green thumb. Going to try again next spring.
Let's not forget about the container project. :)
