I had 21 squirrels stop by for breakfast this morning. Word has gotten out that I'm an easy touch for sunflower seeds.
ahhhhhh, the West Texas Extra Mini Longears. Oh how they and their larger brethren LOVE carrots.
Nice to see so many bunnies, what a crop of critters
At the great rate those critters multiply - you could probably harvest enough rabbits to feed all the homeless people in Study Butte and Alpine. Help the homeless people - instead of fattening up the coyotes.
And then one day you'll wake up and have a pack of coyote that have moved in because of the food supply.
You can already count on numerous coyotes being nearby - just waiting for a fattened up bunny to come hopping around. Of course - they are more active at night - when you can hear them - but seldom see them!
I'm hoping to work my way up the food chain to bears.

Never have seen a bear on the Terlingua Ranch! But I have seen a very large cougar!
Ben is equipped to protect himself - with those horns - but your growing population of javelinas and rabbits - might start disappearing. I suppose cougars would also take down burros quite easily.
