Ben had a good birthday. 18 cards in the mail from all over the country and one from England - over 100 messages on Facebook - and his first card of the day was a personal delivery from my neighbor James Beach. 66 1/4" tip to tip now. 90,99,75,0,C

Ah, happy, happy birthday Ben. I always get a kick out of the picture of the little birthday hat on his head. The bull across the street from me is so beautiful and peaceful and happy looking. I was thinking today about the 4th though with all the fireworks. I hope he can maintain himself. He will be here 'till next March, then...... Oh, no I do not know.
Happy Birthday Benny! Many happy returns.
Ben is so cute and has such a great personality. With that funny nose and mouth, I could pick him out in a herd of longhorns. Happy Birthday Ben.
Hi, John,
I've been following your blog for a couple of months now and am truly enjoying it.
I looked for you on Facebook, but the last post on the page that I found was last November.
My husband and I are purchasing a piece of property in West Texas and hope to be able to move there when we retire. Your blog really is helping me to see what our life may be like when we do.
I'm so sorry mine is belated but it is coming! Happy birthday sweet boy!

He's a handsome fellow, and must be quite the personality to have such a dedicated group of followers! Happy Birthday, Ben!
