Just wondering how far away your hay is grown?
This premium feed comes from California. Hay bales are $11 and alfalfa bales are $12.
Now that's "meals on wheels". :-)
See the little girl? up by the gate with the green bows, she has a smile on her face. Your friends in waiting.
Not sure exactly how you control the feeding. Have you considered a separate area with one gate which you could enter and drag and drop the hay off the back of your trailer, and a separate adjoining fenced and two-gated area area where you could put the day's or week's allotment and allow the herd to access that quantity while isolating the main delivery ? I apologize if I am suggesting the obvious.
