doctors
Follow up visits with my cardiologist and my primary care physician today...in Alpine. Sure beats the hell out of that 7 hour round trip to Odessa. Cardiologist says there is no reason for me to see him again. Primary care physician was happy to see my slightly high cholesterol is back to normal with just a simple diet change and a couple of months on low dose atorvastatin. Last on the list of diagnostics will be a colonoscopy. I find out tomorrow if they can schedule the procedure before the end of the year (before my insurance deductible resets to zero). 66,82,45,0,W

Glad you got a clean bill of health. Good old country living paying off.
John,
Glad you got good news from your doctor today. As it happens
today was my day to see my cardiologist also. Like you I was told
there was no reason for me to see him again. I don't need any new meds and have
no restrictions. He said my heart was strong and healthy.
THANK YOU JESUS for answered prayers.
"I will be your God through all your lifetime,
yes, even when your hair is white with age.
I made you and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and be your Savior."
Isaiah 46:4, Living Bible(TLB)
Good for you John!
December 21st is my ‘Nifty Fifty Day”
Getting older isn’t for sissy’s
A COLONOSCOPY!!! I put that one off for more than a year and consulted with many of my friends experiences. My daughter told me there were agencies to drive me so I could not continue with that excuse. That knock out drug is what killed Michael Jackson. That is something to think about. :-) Well the test turned out to be a cinch. The doctor said I never have to have another one. Just fine. However my daughter then had one. Lucky for her. She had to have some work but says she is fine now. That is great you can be off the staten. Diet did not work for me after awhile.
I got my yearly eye check today. The examiner went into long horrible detail of an eye surgery I might have to have someday because of a wrinkle behind the eye due to aging. But the opthamalogist said it might never get worse and I probably will not need surgery someday. I decided a few years ago that I do not want surgeries unless it is life and death.
Hey Margery - one of the very best things I did for my heath - was to have my eyes operated on because of cataracts. Walk in - walk out - no pain what so ever! Improved my near sightedness so much - I can now see to drive a car without glasses. Still wear bifocal glasses because reading requirements. But my vision is back to 20/20 - with glasses.
Same here Ron.
