I so admire your building skills and work ethic.
Fabulous!
How long did that take you to do?
Just the assembly was about 10 hours.
Nice. I wonder if I could get a small place half that size for half that price. I have land along a road with electricity. But no one will survey that lot (20 acres) so far. They surveyed the other one (10 acres - no electric). Guess I did not pursue it enough. That is a lot of work for you. It would be nice to have a vacation place, but maybe it is too dangerous out there for me. ???
(My place is on the American Legion Rd. and some people live nearby).
Hi John, Your doing really nice work, this project looks like fun. Why the 2x6 framing? is it to accommodate extra insulation for the climate there? I live in northern CA and am used to using 2x6 framing when there is a second story.
Thanks -Joe
yes...for extra insulation.
Have really been enjoying your cabin build videos. I watch them at 1/4 speed. Still fast motion; but more educational.
M B, that's not quite as scenic as John's current job site…
Bills or Billd? very mysterious…
John,
You continually Kick Azz on every project you tackle, Very Inspiring!
