Is that a invite for help

No...it is to make the point that I built this by myself.

Such a simple and kind thing to do. Maybe they will wind up on the porch when you finish.

Nice chairs, brings color to the project. John, a curiosity: I notice in your video's of the Casita build, including installing the insulation, you do not wear gloves for most of your work. I have started woodworking and find that without gloves I destroy my hands with splinters, cuts and the like. I do take them off for detail work as I cannot feel well enough to pick up small things or hold nails etc. You dont like gloves?

technical difficulties… plus an addition… (like in the movies, it's all about product placement - Bud L & Coors L in the Tejas heat…)
…seems I've seen your helper/guy around empty chairs before… you must be feeling lucky…
"go ahead, make my casita…"

addendum — Ben wanted to 'horn' in, then Tom Horn (Steve McQueen) showed up - no beer, but he had a rifle
and then Ricky did a fly by… seems a number of folks thought they helped… and don't get the TinMan started…
and Javier was somewhere in the credits…
la casita es un exito
a small tweak… Count Caleazzo Ciano??

Well, it seems you left the door open for the antics of remmij. :-) Around central TX , it seems and I was convinced, that large rocks or stones are cemented together to circle a house or porch which helps keep air and heat in and looks nice. I left my porches and gazebo open though and did not put up screening or a trellis so the precious breezes could circulate. I also put blocks or cemented rocks from the house to the car for muddy, flooding weather. As you know some people plant various thriving desert plants for decoration and/or shading. But my midwest snowbird neighbor who misses home planted midwest plants. With a lot of water, they are limping along. I put up a high (6 ft.) chain link fence up for starters around the house to keep the dogs in and the mt. lions, deer, fox, skunks, raccoons, armadillos, hedgehogs, rabbits, stray cats, and all the other wildlife out. I am very glad I did that. The birds of all types have perched on the fence, roof, and porch and come to visit.
