I bought this watch in 1989 while working on a photo shoot in Russia. My friend Cesar Vera was hired to take photos of the Moscow Circus for brochures that would be sold when they toured the US. This watch is rather unique as it was intended for use by the blind or visually impaired. The crystal pops open so the hand positions can be felt my touch. I used to wear this watch all the time but it stopped working 25 years ago. I opened the case and very lightly oiled a few of the bearings and with a little fidgeting of the winding stem - was able to get it running again. Not bad for a 31 year old mechanical watch. It is probably going to need servicing by a real watchmaker though. Baila Mi Cumbria by Jimmy Fontanez / Media Right Productions. Russian Dance by Joey Pecoraro used by permission from the YouTube Audio Library.
