Solar oven time

A YouTuber is coming out Tuesday to do a segment on my solar oven.  It has been almost 4 years since I last used it.  Cleaned up the double pane tempered glass this morning - and putting new mylar on the reflector tomorrow.  It will be nice to get this back in operation again.  Kinda seems wrong to be cooking my dinner with propane while we frequently have daily temperatures over 100° this time of year.  99,105,68,0,C

I have a cheapo one made of cardboard covered in foil. I've even made good bread in it. Kind of amazing. Looking forward to your getting yours back in action again...a lot more high-powered than mine.

Cresent Rolls? Again. Please.

Why did it fall out of favor?

Zole...It didn't fall out of favor per se - I just moved on to other projects.

Postictal...I made croissants - not cresent (crescent) rolls. They are pretty labor intensive - but I may try making at least one batch again once the solar oven is up and running.

Whoa. Croissants. I didn't see that in your post, but I am very impressed.

An East Texas misnomer.

The video was memorable.

I bet the smell was buttery and nice.

Every thought about cooking with Ben's dung? Millions of people around the world rely on that resource for cooking. You never know, it might impart a new flavor profile.
