I have been thinking about how I might detail the rover - leaning toward post-apocalyptic/steampunk vs space-age/modern. Saw this on a friend's Facebook feed this morning and I find this guy's work very interesting. Problem with finding something like this that I really like is to not just copy it - but to be inspired by it and figure out how to incorporate some of the aesthetic in an innovative way.

While you're getting inspired by this, please ditch the gun symbols. Ick.
the advantage of the chainsaw(s) addition would be additional obstacle avoidance options &
slightly mitigating the 'ick-factor'… is it the cordite? ;^P… and maybe avoid the Hyundai logo… maybe Ray-Guns, or Bob-Blasters
Search for "Rat Rods". I bet you can find some inspiration from some of those guys.
